Job summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Export Manager to join the dynamic team at APOLLO FOOD INDUSTRIES (M) SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the senior management, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s export strategy and ensuring smooth international trade operations. As a full-time position, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the company’s global expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with international customers, ensuring top-level support and timely responses to inquiries regarding quotations, products, shipments, payments, and more.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and intelligence reports, as well as expanding the client portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as supply chain, R&D, purchasing, and production to align export sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Plan and coordinate participation in international trade shows to promote our products and increase brand awareness.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, including customer codes of conduct and internal policies.
- Monitor and report on export sales performance, providing actionable insights to management for continuous improvement.
- Meet individual and team KPIs set by the company.
- Perform other related tasks or ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of export sales management experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of driving growth in international markets.
- Strong understanding of global market trends and export compliance regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in market analysis and strategic business development.
