Job Scope:
- We are seeking a results-oriented and dynamic Area Sales Executive to oversee and drive sales performance within a designated region.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- This role involves developing strategies, managing teams, and building strong customer relationships to ensure the company’s market presence and profitability.
- Responsible for achieving sales, distribution, and merchandising KPIs in specifies geographic areas (modern and traditional trade).
- Collaborate closely with distributors to ensure successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- To manage distributors within assigned region. Responsible in sales planning and coaching sales team into meeting business direction and strategies, ensuring achievement of sales KPIs.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies relevant to the trade and channel.
- Planning of route to market strategy in area of distribution and coverage for total assigned region.
- Monitor sales operations to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration with distributor sales team to drive sell out and distribution performance.
- Develop new business opportunities and drive distribution across channels within the assigned areas.
- Effective trade spend management in devising effective promo plans and optimizing budget utilization.
- Work closely and coach distributor sales team to ensure trade execution excellence.
- Organize training sessions for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
- Mentor and coach sales representatives, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Time commitment:
- Working hours from 9.00 am to 6.30 (Mondays to Fridays)
- Additional hours may be occasionally being requested to meet the business needs.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree level or equivalent preferably in Sales, Business or Marketing fields.
- Minimum 3 years of area sales management experience in FMCG.
- Able to work in a fast pace and demanding environment.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and flexibility to work irregular hours when required.
