Production Planning:
Responsible for scheduling production to ensure production requirements are met while maintaining a balance between demand and production capacity.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to ensure continuous production flow, avoiding shortages or overstocking.
Data Analysis & Forecasting:
Utilize historical data and demand forecasts to predict production needs, collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teams for demand planning.
Problem Solving:
Address issues related to production delays, material shortages, or shifts in demand while ensuring operational efficiency.
Cross-department Collaboration:
Work closely with the production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth processes and optimize workflows.
Process Improvement:
Analyze and assess planning processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, while implementing steps to enhance production flow.
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare regular reports on production status, factory performance, and future forecasts for senior management.

Entry Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Master’s Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Minimum 8 years of experience in production planning within the food or manufacturing industry with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience managing demand planning and inventory is a plus.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MPS (Master Production Scheduling)

Strong analytical skills for data analysis and demand forecasting.
Time management skills and the ability to solve problems in a dynamic environment.
Experience using production planning software
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
